Conservation Initiatives
As his interest in wildlife grew, Mandanna has also realised that conservation is the need of the hour. He is on a constant endeavor to spread awareness about wildlife, particularly in areas that are affected with human-animal conflict.
In 2016, he established KOEL (Kodagu Organisation for Earth and Life) with partners KN Bose Madappa and Sathish. KOEL focuses on conservation efforts in Coorg area of Karnataka and conducts activities to spread awareness in villages, schools and communities. Divided into two categories, namely EARTH for activities that protect nature, and LIFE for activities that deal with encouraging harmonious human relationships with nature
